Primary healthcare in Faafu Atoll

Primary healthcare is without a doubt the best tool to combat the rising NCD burden in Maldives. Given the successes Maldives achieved in the elimination of diseases by community led programs and reduction of health issues through PHC approach in the past, MoH is once more focused on reorienting health services by bringing it closer to people, making it more patient centred, a caring system at your doorstep throughout your lifetime.

The first steps of reorienting health services to make it more patient centred began this morning in Faafu Atoll. The orientation of key health personnel is being conducted by an MOH led, WHO supported team. #phcrevitalisation #25by30
